Hello and Welcome to Azul Oscuro Design!

I am Micaela Barragan, I am a shop based in San Diego. I use my interior and graphic design background to create fun greeting cards and home accents with a reflection of the latinx community. My greeting cards were created in 2016. Just a handful were made and I soon found that my memories and experiences where widely shared with other latinxs. Now there are more than 30 cards to choose from! I decided to create uniquely designed home accents, greeting cards, and gifts for loved ones! I use a combination of typography and humor to create each piece! The goal is to bring a smile to whoever sees any of my products! Whether it's a greeting card that you gift someone special or an affirmation you see everyday. My goal is to make things that add something fun and beautiful to your surroundings!

Mal Bicho Collective:

From 2021 to 2023 We opened a shop called Mal Bicho Collective in San Diego, CA. This store was an art collective made of multiple Latinx artists, we enjoyed our work and our time in this space. You can see our history on our closed instagram page:
